Life in a company

During my dinner in Bluewall, I called JY and talked about his life in a comapny. Actually I cencern more about the research part. For example, what should you do if some project does not work out? It is really painful that some projects could not work out during your PHD. Therefore I am wondering if that kind of situation will happen in a company. After talking to him, I found out that the company will usually come out with some better way for this. For example, they will assign you two projects. One is easy and another one is more difficult. So the company can make sure that you can get some results. Of course, this is not always the case.
